Following the stunning success of the original Moods of Mann (1994) and after numerous requests, we will be producing a new edition for publication in 2008.

It will be a book of beautiful pictures taken ‘by the people–for the people’. How the Island is changing to face the needs and demands of our rapidly changing environment, while retaining and nurturing those characteristics that make it so special.

Publication date. December 1st 2008.

If you think you already have, or can photograph some really stunning pictures that would benefit this beautiful publication, you can enter our competition — either here online or by downloading an entry form and dropping it in to Keigs in Strand Street with your entries.

Up to £3000 of prizes (vouchers or photographic equipment) to be won.

Writing Competition

Can You Write?

We are offering a £250 prize, sponsored by the Lexicon Bookshop, for the best submission entitled ‘My Island’.

Entries should not exceed 500 words and can be submitted by e-mail or handed in to the Lexicon Bookshop. All entries must be your own work and remember to include your name and contact details.

NB. The publisher’s reserve the right not to use any submissions or provide the prize if in their sole opinion the quality of submission does not reach the required standard. No entries will be returned.
